Parents, do you have a carton of Muji fruit juice in your fridge right now? Don’t let anyone in your family drink it — it might contain mould.
Just yesterday (June 1), Singapore’s Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) announced that lifestyle chain Muji has recalled its Apple & Grape 100% Fruit Juice product. The voluntary recall came after Muji detected mould in some of its products.
According to the AVA, the recall has been completed. Those who have bought this popular juice product are strongly advised not to drink it.
Here’s what you can do if you’ve bought the product:
- Take the carton(s) to any Muji outlet to get a refund
- Alternatively, contact Muji’s customer service division at 6346 4123 for a refund
The AVA has not yet provided details about the type of mould detected.
If you or your kids have already drunk the contaminated juice, be sure to get the advice of a medical professional!
