While being a parent can be fulfilling, it can also be quite difficult. Especially with everything that’s going on in the world. But no parent should ever feel guilty for needing extra support in caring for their families.

If you are looking for parenting support, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) offers the Triple P Parenting Programme and Signposts. These are two evidence-based programmes for Parenting Support Providers (PSPs).

What Are Parenting Support Providers?

To provide parenting support services on a regular basis, the MSF has appointed Parenting Support Providers or PSPs.

These work closely with schools and community partners in their allocated regions. They are meant to support parents and their children depending on their needs.

PSPs offer parenting programmes and referrals to services parents may require. Their programmes include the Triple P Parenting Programme and Signposts.

Parents can sign up for these programmes by contacting the PSPs serving in their child’s school. Or they can also approach their child’s school Teacher-In-Charge of Parenting Programmes.
