Are you looking to register your kids for a team sports programme this June holiday? The MILO Youth Triathlon may be just what you're looking for!

From football and basketball to synchronised swimming – you might have your eyes set on a particular team sport for your 10-year-old to take part in. Apart from giving her a fun activity that lets her sweat it out and stay active, team sports can also be a great way to teach your tween about the important values of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Team sports are also a way by which kids can discover their capabilities, hone their skills, and learn how to use them to work with others to achieve a common goal.

It's great timing then that the MILO Youth Triathlon will be taking place on 31st May 2014 at Changi Beach Park, especially if you're looking to register your kids for a team sports programme this June holiday.

A non-competitive sporting event for 10- to 20-year-olds, the MILO Youth Triathlon provides an opportunity for youths to learn important life values through sports.

Through this triathlon, the organisers hope to bring across the message to youths that there is more to sports than just aiming for the winning spot. Taking part in sports also involves learning a thing or two about teamwork, patience and perseverance.
