With glorious dragon sculptures, festive performances, and an unforgettable drone show, this event was an extraordinary celebration of the Lunar New Year.

The Marina Bay Sands 2024 Light Up event was a sight to behold. Three enormous dragon sculptures took centre stage at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, captivating locals and tourists alike.
The light-up event featured a medley of festive musical and dance performances scheduled for 7:30 pm on February 6th.
Spectacular Turquoise Dragons Soar at Marina Bay Sands for Lunar New Year

In honour of the Year of the Dragon, Marina Bay Sands has unveiled an awe-inspiring display of majestic turquoise dragons. Suspended from the ceilings of The Shoppes, a colossal dragon sculpture coils, a pearl clutched in its claw, captivating visitors with its grandeur.
This spectacle is part of the broader Lunar New Year celebrations across Singapore, which also include a large dragon diorama set up in Chinatown.
A smaller, yet equally stunning dragon can be admired in the hotel lobby of Marina Bay Sands, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the complex

The highlight of the Marina Bay Sands 2024 Light Up was undoubtedly the unveiling of two majestic 40-metre-long dragons at the heart of The Shoppes.
This awe-inspiring spectacle, framed by 88 koi fish ornaments, a dragon’s pearl, and 28 lotus lanterns, beautifully illustrated The Legend of the Dragon Gate — a tale of determination and transformation.

While the initial dragon drone show scheduled for the evening of February 6th was unfortunately postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, the festivities continue. Spectators can look forward to more dragon and lion dance performances, koi dancers, and a performance by Nathan Hartono.
Moreover, a dazzling drone light show at the Marina Bay waterfront is set to take place on selected dates till February 18.
