Enjoy the best of two worlds with the Xmas Hasty Santa Claus Cake (S$58). It is a half-and-half of strawberry shortcake and chocolate sponge cake. The overall offering is topped with super adorable frostings of reindeer, snowman as well as Santa Claus!

With elegant swirls of chestnut cream frosting, the Xmas Japanese Chestnut Mont Blanc Cake (S$58) is made with high-grade chestnuts from Ibaraki Prefecture. Japanese chestnut buttercream and kanroni pair beautifully with custard fresh cream, almond crunch and cocoa as well as vanilla sponges.

The Premium Minoir Chocolate (S$60) is decadent, all thanks to the sweet chocolate mousse, milk chocolate almond crunch, cocoa sponge with almond. The cake is also finished with a shiny chocolate glacage. The tang of the strawberry peach jelly cuts through the earthy chocolate goodness.

Need petite cake options? The Happy Santa Claus “Fresh Cream” (S$15) is the perfect answer. It is a classic combination of fresh cream and vanilla sponge, bound to please all. There is also the Happy Santa Claus “Chocolate Fresh Cream” (S$15), for all the chocolate aficionados.

Cheekily presented in the shape of Santa’s moustache, the Snow Santa Claus (S$6.8) makes a fun addition to the table. The red ball is made of strawberry nappage, which hides strawberry condensed milk and dry strawberries as well as strawberries with powder. Best sellers such as Buche de Noel (S$48), Noel Blanc (S$48) and Xmas Crispy Chocolate Cake (S$52) will return as well. Châteraisé’s Christmas 2021 Collection is available from 1 December 2021 at all stores in Singapore.

A commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients 

Buoyed by its network of over 100 contracted farms, Châteraisé is able to procure fresh, natural ingredients to make its beloved cakes and sweets. The milk it uses comes from grass-fed cattle that lives at a ranch in the Yatsugatake foothills.

Feeding the cattle grass ensures that they produce milk that is very rich in flavour. At the factory, the milk is pasteurised for 30 minutes at a low temperature of 65 degrees Celsius — this process ensures that the milk retains its natural composition, flavours and nutrients.

Châteraisé is self-sufficient in the production of egg in Yamanashi. The eggs that we use are free from additives. The chickens are given a diet comprising healthy animal feed, which helps ensure that their eggs are low in odour. The eggs are then broken using special machinery at the factories.

Local farmers also deliver fresh, sweet and delicious strawberries directly from the production area to Châteraisé. With over 991 million strawberries harvested each year, Châteraisé is very particular about the quality of their strawberries and gets them from contracted farmers all over Japan.

The brand uses the natural spring waters of Hakushu to wash and cook its adzuki beans from Hokkaido. It is this insistence on using premium-grade ingredients that has enabled Châteraisé to become the number 1 confectionery manufacturer in Japan, with a yearly turnover of USD700 million.
