Liu Ling Ling Reveals Child’s Father

Liu Ling Ling has revealed to Lianhe Wanbao that Qiu Jinhai is indeed her son’s father, that they had conceived Xiang Xiang through IVF.

Apparently, Qiu was neck deep in trouble after his real estate and insurance business failed. He had ended up accumulating about $600,000 in debt.

Mummy Liu was worried debtors would try to harm Xiang Xiang if they knew he was Qiu’s baby. That’s why she vehemently denied the rumours.

She had had a baby after so long, the little one meant everything to her.

She tells Wanbao, “Even my mother and younger brother were kept in the dark when I was pregnant. I would rather bear the pressure alone.”

Liu once told The New Paper, “Right from the start, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy – from pregnancy to birth, or even thereafter.”

“But I have not regretted it at all. Being a mother enriches your health, your well-being and mostly, your life.”

Many have also been critical of Liu Ling Ling choosing to become a mother so late in life.

“Yes, I have been told that when I am 70 years old, my son will only be 19.

“The promise that I have made to my son and myself is that he will not find anything lacking as he grows up. I will bring him up such that he will learn independence.

“As long as he knows he will always bask in his mother’s love, I am confident my child will be fine.”
