Singapore Table Tennis Star Li Jiawei Gives Birth To A Baby Boy

Singaporean table tennis star, Li Jiawei gives birth to a baby boy at 9.22 am in Thomson Medical Centre on Tuesday.

Her son named Tian Rui (which loosely means “astute and far—sighted) will also be a Singapore citizen. He was born via C-section and weighed in at 3.575kg.

Mom Jiawei will be returning to table tennis training next year and she would like Tian Rui to be with her. And as for the couple’s next bundle of joy? They aren’t planning for any till after the 2012 Olympics.
