1. Twinkle Kidz
Twinkle Kidz has 2 theatre camps designed for children aged 4 to 6 years old. During the 5-day camp, seasoned trainers from The Learning Connections will inspire and fire up the children’s imaginations through a myriad of activities such as creative body & dance movements, acting exercises, impromptu performances, preparation of simple props, puppetry, music & movement, craft activities and dramatic play.
Choose between the Mandarin Performing Arts Camp or the Children’s Theatre Camp. There are 2 sessions for 3-4 years old and 5-6 years old respectively.

2. ACT 3 Drama Academy June Holiday Workshops (English)
Children will explore three worlds through the eyes of Pinocchio – the world of fun at the carnival, the world of temptation and the world of mystery under the sea. They will narrate, improvise and role-play as puppets and puppeteers as well as consider the importance of honesty.
The older kids will explore the emotions and struggles of a young child who is yet to become who he really wants to be. This workshop will teach basic singing techniques such as simple breathing, projection of vocals and how to sing right. The children will also perform in a song skit to showcase their talents, imagination, dreams and aspirations.

b) I CAN BE ME (musical)
Dates: June 6 – 10, 13 – 17 (Ages 7 to 10)
Times: 9.30am to 11.30am (till 12.30pm for the older ones) or 3pm to 5pm (from 2pm for the older ones)

3. Kids Performing – Performance Training June Holiday Workshop
TWINKLESTARS 3 – 4 years old

Twinkle Stars is a creative movement and music course .Speech and drama is taught through simple action songs. The children in this class are also introduced to music of different genre : jazz,pop and musical theater. Stage training will be introduced with fun games allowing our TwinkleStars to present themselves regularly to an audience after each term.
POPSTARS 5 – 6 years old
Thursday June 23rd 1.30 – 2.30pm / $20
A performance training class that prepares the children for JazzKids™, Urbankids™ Or Broadway Kids™.In this course, they are taught songs from different genre: Jazz, musical theater and pop.Simple choreography is taught where they will improve their co-ordination and rhythmic skills.They will also learn about team work through stage training. Confident personalities are developed early in this course as the children will need to hold their own poses and introduce themselves with pride. Basic vocal technique is also introduced in this course.
JazzKids™ 7 -12 years old
Tuesday June 21st 2.45-3.45 pm / $20
JazzKids™ is a program teaching children the elements of performance using jazz repertoire. In this course, appreciation of jazz is inculcated with the special skills of singing, dancing and stage presentation. Selected jazz standards that appeal to children are taught and through these songs children are trained to sing in the style of jazz and and dance the authentic moves in choreography originating from America in the ‘30s.
BroadwayKids™ 7 -12 years old
Friday June24th 4 -5 pm / $20
BroadwayKids™ is a program teaching children the elements of performance as required for musical theater performance. In this course, appreciation of musical theater is inculcated with the special skills of singing, dancing, acting and stage presentation. Selected repertoire and acts that appeal to children are taught and through these studies children are trained to perform in revues as well as be part of a cast of a musical.
UrbanKids™ 7 – 12 years old
Thursday June 23rd 2.45 – 3.45pm / $20
UrbanKids™ is a program teaching children the elements of performance using contemporary popular MTV- genre repertoire. In this course, appreciation of pop styles is inculcated with the special skills of singing, dancing and stage presentation. Selected repertoire that appeal to children and the youths are taught and through these songs they are trained to sing in styles suited for different genre and are choreographed for the show presentations.
