It’s been a long, suspenseful wait for Jay Chou fans, but the happy news is finally out! The King of Mandopop just confirmed the birth of his second child on his Facebook page.

Chou and his wife have not yet revealed the name of their little boy.

The superstar said that he would likely be missing the upcoming Golden Melody Awards, Taiwan’s equivalent of the Grammy Awards. He was nominated for three awards this year: Best Male Vocalist – Mandarin, Best Music Video, and Song of the Year.

Instead, the new dad plans to enjoy some family time together. Chou wrote that it would be special to watch the awards ceremony from the confinement centre with his wife and children.

The superstar couple kept the pregnancy process relatively low-key — so much so that speculations were flying about whether or not Hannah had given birth this last month.

Now that their bundle of joy is here, we can’t wait for the couple to properly introduce him to the world. Congratulations to the Chou family on their newest addition!
