You should take this time to explain to her that you are financially ready and stable to bring in a new addition to the family. Make sure to talk about this while providing evidence of said financial stability.
Show her your savings account (if she hasn’t seen it yet) or prepare a report on why a baby would not change anything financially — given your present assets and liabilities. Showing that you are prepared monetarily is always a big advantage.
