A one-year-old boy was among three people who were taken to the hospital after they were involved in a hit-and-run accident along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Monday (6 July).
Police said they were alerted to the incident just before 8pm on 6 July evening, said to be along the PIE towards Tuas.
And more specifically, between exits 8 and 9 of the PIE near Kembangan, according to eyewitnesses who provided CNA with photo evidence.

A 34-year-old male driver and two passengers from the same car, a 27-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy, were the three people taken to the hospital.
The male driver was brought to Changi General Hospital whereas the woman and the boy were taken to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
All three had been conscious when taken to the respective hospitals.
There were two black cars surrounded by traffic cones in the middle of the road as well as two ambulances nearby, according to CNA who saw the photos.

A tow truck and two police cars were also seen in videos posted by an eyewitness.
