Mums, when we say Cartoon Network, don’t raise an eyebrow just yet. We aren’t talking about hours in front of a screen here. Yes we’re here to tell you about catching some of your kids’ favourite shows (in moderation) but also how you can segue that screen time into hands-on activities.
Cartoon Network has more than 150 online activities and home adventures for you to try out. Dress up as a cartoon character or transform your home into different fun zones.
Maybe even turn your entire home into a different theme for each day of the week? Whatever rocks your boat!
Let the kids take charge and put their creativity to good use. It’s definitely a great way to keep them occupied and make them feel good about themselves, while keeping healthy and staying safe at home.
So what are these fun zones all about? Let’s find out.
Fun Zone 1 – Play: Keeping Little Hands Busy!
Turn your kitchen into the Great British Bake-Off Tent, or an art studio – paints, glue, and all. Kids are always brimming with ideas for home-based activities. They jump at any opportunity to get their hands busy.
Craft Creek with Looney Tunes has many such activities. Give your kids a chance to summon their inner Gordon Ramsey and whip up delicious summer-themed recipes or hone their craft skills with DIY craft home-based activities.
Here’s an example – they can try their hand at making this really cool Jam Dunk paper hoop! This will keep them busy while you work from home. Just don’t leave them alone in the kitchen!
Fun Zone 2 – Music: Sing Your Hearts Out Because, Why Not?
