Take some time during the day to settle down and list down what the kids want to do during the party. This is where you get to zero in on decorations, games and find out whether you’ll be watching a Halloween movie by the end of it.

2. Preparing decorations

While you don’t have to go all out on the Halloween party decoration ideas for the kids to enjoy the celebration, it would be best to prepare them way ahead of time.

This is especially true if you’re going to buy decorations online. You will then need days before they arrive at your doorstep.

You can find all your Halloween decorations at various shops in Singapore or online stores such as Shopee, Lazada and Amazon.sg!

3. Sending out invitations

When inviting your child’s friends, don’t forget that the restrictions only allow two persons to visit your house one at a time. Best to invite guests early on so that you know just how many can go and if they would actually be available.

After all, you wouldn’t want all your Halloween party ideas and preparations to go to waste for the kids!

4. Trick-or-Treat snacks

Doesn’t matter if the kiddos can’t go trick-or-treating. You can instead share all their favourite candies and sweets at home! You can prepare a pumpkin cauldron filled with enough treats for your little one and his friends.

Of course, what’s a party without some fun games and activities! While it’s totally up to you to decide what you want to do with the kids during the party, here are some Halloween party activity ideas you can prepare for the kids to keep the festivities going:

  • Arts and crafts
In line with the spooky season, you can make some Jack-o-lanterns or cut out scare flying ghosts. Also great for the kids to have something to keep to commemorate the party.
  • Eyeball roll
You don’t need to take your eyeball out for this one. Just prepare a few plastic eyes, straws, a table and a bucket for the kids to aim at for a fun game!
  • Hangman’s apples
This can work with any snack you can tie up such as apples, doughnuts, biscuits and so on.
  • Worm Hunt
Put those straws from the eyeball roll game to good use again by preparing some flour and a bag of gummy worms to let the hunting begin! Have the kids use their mouths or blow through the straws to find as many worms as they can.
