Singapore-based education group Cognita recently announced the appointment of Graham Sullivan as Chief Education Officer in Asia. He will be responsible for developing and maintaining high standards of quality education across all Cognita schools in Asia. Graham will take on his new role from August 1, 2009.

The new Chief brings a wealth of experience in international education on both the operational and advisory side in his 31-year long career. Prior to this new role, Graham served as Managing Director of St. Andrews International School in Thailand.

Cognita, one of the largest owners and operators of independent schools globally with over 50 schools around the world, has a presence in Singapore with the Australian International School and Stamford American International School. Cognita is also embarking on a rapid expansion plan across Asia. Malaysia and Indonesia are top priority countries.
