Struggling to get a ride to the hospital to take his wife who is labour, a man in Punggol was running out of options until "two kind souls" offered them a ride. He documented what happened on that fateful day through a Facebook post on Wednesday (13 January) which later on went viral—with many applauding the drivers' act of kindness.

According to the man, it was around 9.15am when his wife's water broke signalling that she's going through labour that prompted him to book a private hire car to take her straight to KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH).
With his wife standing while enduring labour at their residence's lobby, the man said he was unable to find any cabs and private hire cars around their area at Sumang Walk, Punggol. Luckily, "two kind souls" offered to help.
"We didn’t notice that we were being observed by 2 kind soul at that moment (sic)," the man wrote in his post. "[They] offered to transport us to KKH," he continued.
"We were reluctant at first as we do not want to trouble them as we assumed they were on their way to work. But they assured us that it’s no trouble at all," he wrote.
To express his gratitude for the great help, he ended his post with a shoutout to the two by writing, "Mr. Jamal & Ms. Fadilah, from the deepest of our heart, we would like to convey our sincere thanks to you. We greatly appreciate it".
