Like any other young boy, Haidar Moustafa has a dream of meeting Cristiano Ronaldo. But, this boy’s story is different. In the recent Beirut bombings, Haidar tragically lost both his parents but he still thinks they “are in the car”.
A picture of him wearing the Real Madrid jersey was splashed all over social media and that’s when thousands of people urged Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo to make the young boy’s dream come true.
In a matter of hours, #CristianoMeetHaidar was trending worldwide.
Soon Real Madrid made contact with Lebanon and the meeting was arranged.
