Fed up with your husband for not doing his part in parenting? Wish that there’s a school that will teach him how to be good at fathering? Well, a “fathering school” just opened…in Tokyo, Japan.

This school was established for the sole purpose of teaching men how to become great fathers. After work, fathers can head off to the lectures and learn how to care for their children. Life-sized dolls are often used during training sessions.

In Japan, most fathers aren’t really involved in parenting. All they do is just work, work, work. The responsibility for childcare and home management solely falls on the wife. However, some men nowadays are trying to become more active in performing their roles as parents.

So far, more than a dozen men have enrolled and most of them are first-time fathers. There are a few who already have children but still want to improve their skills in parenting. Starting in June, child care laws will already allow fathers to take parental leave.
