Located in the west of Singapore, Farmart Centre houses farm animals such as goats, bull frogs, tortoises, rabbits and birds. They also have animal feeding opportunities and farm tours conducted that will serve as a joy for kids who are always eager to get close with the animals.

Additionally, Farmart also has a dining restaurant where they serve fresh seafood that you can choose from a large tank of fishes and crabs. The best part is, admission is free!

Jurong Frog Farm also has 9 different tour packages where kids can learn how to differentiate between a male and a female frog, witness a performance by an all-frog choir and so much more. They also have an online retail shop where you can buy seafood, fishing needs and merchandises.

#3 S.E.A. Aquarium

Another aquarium for the underwater lovers, S.E.A. Aquarium is one of the largest aquarium in the world, with 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species. It’s large aquarium tank is definitely the highlight of the whole place where you can witness the sea creatures and feeding sessions.

You will also have the chance to swim with the adorable dolphins and also have your wedding photos taken here! S.E.A. Aquarium also has many ticket promotions that are available for online booking on their website.

#3 Gallop Stable

Gallop Stable is created to provide an opportunity for the public to experience horse riding without having to worry about the high costs, memberships and monthly subscriptions. They also cater for all ages so no one’s left out at the horse riding opportunities!

They currently have 3 branches located around Singapore. Gallop Stable also allows the public to hold events such as birthday parties or corporate events and you can even have your wedding photoshoot taken here.

#5 Singapore Zoo

Singapore Zoo has been known for having one of the world’s most beautiful wildlife setting since 1973. With more than 2,800 animals, it’s been a well-loved place for almost every Singaporean growing up.

Singapore Zoo also has a kids park called The Rainforest Kidzworld where kids can have fun at the mini water park and also ride ponies in this learn and play zone. There are also animal shows like the elephant shows which are entertaining for the whole family!

#6 Night Safari

Located right next to the Singapore Zoo, the Night Safari became the world’s first safari park to house nocturnal animals since it opened its doors in 1994. Today, they have over 2,500 animals living in the park!

Similar to the zoo, you can choose to roam the park at your own leisure or opt for the tram. However, some animals like the Malayan flying foxes and giant flying squirrels are visible only on the walking trails! Amazing performances from Night Safari’s talented troupe of tribal warriors where they perform brave and fiery stunts are conducted nightly, so don’t miss that out!

The newest edition to the Wildlife Reserves group and newest neighbour to the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari, River Safari has rivers that are inspired from some of the world’s most iconic rivers. River Safari has over 6,000 animals including 40 threatened species.

Aside from the 8 rivers where visitors can experience the different sea creatures like stingrays, beavers and catfish, you can visit the park’s most popular animals, KaiKai and Jia Jia the pandas! A must see would be the Amazon Flooded Forest where an ecological showcase of underwater creatures such as the arapaima and the giant river otter awaits you.

#8 Jurong Bird Park

Located in the west region, Jurong Bird Park has been charming visitors with its collection of more than 5,000 birds since opening its doors in 1971.

In exhibitions such as the Waterfall Aviary or and the 9-storey high Lory Loft provides visitors close interaction with these feathered creatures. In the latter, visitors will meet the Australian birds who also happen to be the friendliest in the park!

Additionally, at Birdz And Play, kids of all ages can have fun in both the wet and dry zones in this bird-themed playground. Kids can also challenge themselves in the flying fox which is available in the dry zone. There are also slides, see-saws and swings that are suitable for the little ones!
