1. Ola Beach Club

A haven for water sports including kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and even jet packing (check out their activities list here). Ola Beach Club serves up healthy & hearty Hawaiian-inspired menu that also caters to kids. There’s a small pool for the little ones to frolic and cool off in. 

2. Thyme @ Aliwal

Thyme @ Aliwal is perfect for the aspiring creative genius who happens to love chicken nuggets. For just $5, kids have access to an entire arts & crafts corner complete with a suite of art supplies that’ll be sure to keep them entertained for hours. Thyme serves a wide variety of European & Asian-inspired cuisine as well as a kids menu.

3. Wheeler’s Estate

Nestled in Seletar Aerospace Park, Wheeler’s Estate is housed in a beautiful former British military airbase-turned heritage building. The estate is conveniently located next to the popular aerospace playground for kids to live out their dreams of touching the skies. Wheeler’s Estate serves up classic Italian & Mediterranean cuisine such as Grilled Octopus ($24), Iberico Pork Rack ($38) and Sea Bass Cartoccio ($58). They also have a spectacular brunch menu serving their famous Crab Benedict ($24). A kid’s menu is available once they work up an appetite at the playground.

4. Atmosphere Bistro

The perfect spot for families to head to after a long day at East Coast Park. Atmosphere Bistro has a mind-bogglingly wide selection of light bites that would make anyone, child or adult, giddy with excitement. Ranging from Roasted Pork Belly ($8.80) to Mini Prawn Fritters & Nachos ($12.80), there’s something for everyone on this menu. Atmosphere Bistro is also famous for their desserts, especially the Black Pearl ($16.80), a chocolate sphere filled with coconut ice cream, coconut flakes and mixed berries, topped with a flaming gula melaka sauce prepared right by your table. There’s even an indoor playground for the little ones who regained their energy after a wholesome meal.

5. Wildseed At The Summerhouse

Wildseed is another popular family-friendly establishment located in the Seletar Aerospace Park. It is one of the rare dual concept establishments in Singapore. In the day it is a beautiful cafe serving brunch items with a local twist such as their Bak Kwa Pizza ($21), freshly brewed coffee, sweet pastries and soft serve with flavours such as Milo Dinosaur ($6) that the kids are guaranteed to love. They even have a Waffle Factory ($16) for kids to choose from a wide variety of toppings. When night falls, Wildseed serves up delectable grill selections like their famous Harissa Butter BBQ Baby Back Ribs with Sambal Mayonnaise ($29). Wildseed is the perfect location for a relaxing brunch or an outdoor family dinner.

6. Zaffron Kitchen (East Coast outlet)

Zaffron Kitchen serves some of the best North Indian cuisine in Singapore and a Michelin Bib Gourmand to show for it. They’re well known for offering traditional dishes such as the Dum Mutton Biryani ($17) and Butter Chicken ($17.5) that goes hand in hand with their selection of Naans, Parathas and Rotis. The East Coast outlet has a small adorable-looking wooden house filled with toys for kids to play with.

7. Three Buns

Three buns is no ordinary burger joint. With names such as Bun DMC ($16) and Big Krabby Kane ($25), you know this place is packed full of flavour and personality. Besides serving some of the best burgers you’ll ever have, it is also a hub for the creative community. There’s also a playground nearby for the little ones to run around to get their creative juices flowing. Three Buns offers a ‘Lil Pup’ selection that includes a burger, fries and a vanilla shake for the younger ones when they need a recharge from all the running around.

8. Tree Lizard

Nestled in a quiet corner of Dempsey Hill, Tree Lizard offers a range of classic Western dishes such as Slow-Braised Beef Cheeks ($24.80), Garlic Mushroom Pizza ($12.80) and Bolognese Pasta ($16.80). As the name suggests, Fusion Spoon offers everything from Nasi Lemak with Rendang Chicken ($8) to Pepper Beef Baked Rice ($11.80). Cafe Melba offers something beyond your typical western fare, combining elements from Melbourne and Asia, Cafe Melba created whipped up creative fusion dishes such as their Chilli Crab Pizza and Braised Beef Rendang which comes with a side of Pizza Bread if you so choose. With 11 outlets in Singapore, Kith Cafe is a familiar name in the Singapore food scene. Their outlet at Marina Square goes a step further by offering a dedicated indoor children’s play area and a kids menu. You can sit back and enjoy a fine cuppa knowing your kid is happy at play.

14. Carrotsticks And Cravings (Dempsey Outlet)

A popular Australian-inspired spot located in Loewen Gardens at Dempsey focusing on healthy food such as their Superfood Salad ($22), Baked Chia Parfait ($13) and even smoothie bowls such as the Acai Berry Bowl ($14). A self-service kids cafe by the popular Food For Thought Group that encourages children to take more initiative when it comes to dining situations. The kid-themed cafe serves up one of the most comprehensive kids menus in Singapore from light bites to all-day brunches to mains. The variety did not come at the expense of quality, for example, one of the more popular items is the Skinny Works ($16) which is a platter of smoked salmon, avocado, scrambled eggs, garlic mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, mesclun tomato salad and multigrain toast. Besides offering nutritious food for the body, Food For Tots runs a series of programmes for children to feed their minds as well. Children can also choose to have some fun in the sand play area near the cafe or the smaller play area within the cafe itself.

16. Kind Kones

Kind Kones offers healthy, all-natural, scoops of vegan ice cream for you and your little ones to savour after a long day of shopping. The prices ranges from $4.9 for their single scoop standard flavours to $8 the double scoop premium flavours. If you feel like going one step further, you can try their Ice Cream Sandwich ($8) or Brownie Sundae ($11.5). There isn’t a wide open field for your kids to run around after the cold treat but they won’t have to since Kind Kones ice cream does not include refined sugar that might make them restless. Instead, there’s a colouring station with a book exchange to keep them busy while you savour every cold bite.

Tucked away in the northeastern part of Singapore is this spacious brunch spot houses in a building that used to play host to the Royal Air Force (RAF). Known as Block 20 within the Changi Camp compound, the modern décor strikes a balance that pays homage to the past while providing a comfortable dining environment for the whole family. The Coastal Settlement serves Asian-Western fusion cuisine ranging from a Ribeye Rosti ($41) to Oyster Char Kway Teow ($23). There’s also an outdoor play area chock full of items to keep the young ones entertained.

18. Jamie’s Italian

At Jamie’s Italian, you and your family can rest assured knowing the dishes served will be full of flavour and nutrition. Their kids menu isn’t simply smaller versions of the normal menu, dishes such as the Happy Chicken Lollipops ($12) and Five-A-Day Picnic Box ($12) have been designed to ensure your child gets an exciting meal that’s also tasty and nutritious. The kids meal comes with a salad and an unlimited serving of fruity water, milk or fruit juice. Both outlets have colouring sheets and crayons to keep your child entertained while waiting for the food to be served. 19. Trapizza

Located at Siloso Beach, Trapizza is within a 5-minute walk from the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort. The casual Italian restaurant is a kids haven, with a fun menu that includes a ‘Build Your Own Bento’ box allowing the young ones to choose from a variety of pastas, sauces, pizzas, vegetables and drinks. The kids can run along the beach or frolic in the water play area while waiting for their pizza to come out of the woodfired oven.

20. SandBank

Going to East Coast Park is a treat for the whole family and SandBank is the cherry on top. A unique family-friendly establishment that includes a 15m plunge pool and a 0.5m pool for the young ones to waddle in. SandBank offers Asian & Western cuisine, including beefed up versions of wok dishes such as the Pork Trotter Bee Hoon ($25) and Seafood Noodles ($35) that contains prawns, scallops, squid and clams. There’s also a $9 kids menu that comes with a main, chicken nuggets, fries and juices with additional sides available.

21. Marché Movenpick

When you step into Marché it feels like you’ve entered some sort of Swiss food theme park. Marché has spared no expense in bringing alive the feeling of traditional Swiss dining from its décor to the freshly sliced and pan-fried rösti. They did not forget about the kids as well, Marché provides a kids menu ($14.90) that comes with a main, a drink and ice cream. They also ensure that the play areas in their outlets are adequately designed with toys, games and furniture that will keep your child entertained. Marché also provides high chairs for younger toddlers, a changing table and baby service stations.

22. Camp Kilo Charcoal Club

True to its name, dining at Camp Kilo is an experience in itself, with scenic outdoor seats, freshly roasted meats straight from the fiery-hot BBQ pits and activities for all ages. Camp Kilo also hosts ‘Camp Kido’ days, a bi-monthly Sunday experience for kiddos. Camp Kido offers a full afternoon of activities that are sure to make your kid a happy camper! Do note that Camp Kilo is only open from Friday 5:30pm till Sunday 11pm, be sure to make reservations before heading down.
