The fun involves getting an album, a set of animal cards, and an app as you embark on a rewarding learning adventure, right from the shop floors of FairPrice Xtra.

FairPrice Xtra, one of Singapore’s best known chain of stores, is celebrating Xtra Wild Celebration from 14 June to 22 August. This is where all the excitement in your shopping spree will happen!
Does your kid love animals? Animal photos, videos and cards? Of course, he does!
FairPrice Xtra is giving your kids their very own exclusive “Experience Wildlife Animals Card Collection” with exciting product promotions. This will not only make your kid jump with joy, but you may also get to win some cool vouchers and prizes.
The Experience Wildlife Animals Card Collection is a treasure trove of fun and learning. Here’s what you can expect:
What Is the Experience Wildlife Animals Card Collection?
Since kids love to collect stuff (dolls, animal figures, cars, other toys), FairPrice Xtra has come out with a card collection scheme for your little ones. These cards will feature animals such as tigers, monkeys and elephants in interactive designs your kids are going to love!
To start the fun, all you need are three things: an album, the cards, and the app.
The cards can be stored in the FairPrice Xtra card collection album, which is organised by habitat. There are six habitats in total.
The card collection album has special pages with pouches for your cards, as well as fun facts, challenges and games. You can buy the album at all seven FairPrice Xtra stores (scroll to the bottom of this article to find the addresses of these stores).
At the back of the card collection album, there is a poster that shows every card you can collect. This will help you in your hunt to collect them all! If you discover a new card, simply check it off on your poster.
What’s more, the cards come alive in the virtual world because they are interactive with the app. Use the app to hear the animal, magically transfer it to its natural habitat, or play a game on your device!
Animals Play & Learn
All the cards in the collection can be used to interact with the app.
There are three types of interactive cards. You can see the card type in the top right corner of the card.
1. Image Recognition Cards
Dad and Baby cards are Image Recognition Cards. These are cards you can scan with your device to unlock extra information about each animal.
2. Digital Transfer Cards
Mum cards are Digital Transfer Cards. By using these cards on the screen of your device and tapping the numbers in the correct order, you will be able to transfer the image of the animal into its habitat.
3. X-Ray Cards
There are more than just Mum, Dad, and Baby cards. There are also three special X-RAY cards. These will allow you to play a game on your device. In the game, you will be able to spot hidden animals that are invisible without these cards.
You don’t have to wait for too long! This campaign starts on 14 June and ends on 22 August.
Now, mums, this campaign is not only going to benefit your kids. You can also reap some good savings by winning exciting perks!
Exciting Perks for You and Your Family
There are ultra rare cards (White Tiger) available in the pack. When a customer collects an ultra rare card, they can exchange it for $200 worth of FairPrice Gift Vouchers at FairPrice Xtra customer service counters. There are 50 sets to be given away.
Other than collecting cards in a physical copy album, there is also an “animal search” activity in the stores, where animals are collected on a weekly basis, digitally via an app.
In-Store Animal Search
Beyond the app, your search continues in the FairPrice Xtra store. Go on an expedition through the store aisles and scan all Wildlife floor stickers with this app. Every week, there will be 10 new animals to discover.
Complete the weekly challenge by finding all 10 new animals within one week and you will qualify for an exciting prize worth $5 (while stocks last).
If you’ve missed some, don’t worry. You will still be able to complete your digital collection by scanning them during the rest of the campaign. You will, however, no longer be eligible to win a prize for the past weeks.
Tap on the “In-Store Animal Search” button in the home screen and start scanning!
Card Exchange & Trump Game
If you have a double (that is, two similar cards), check your poster for the cards you are missing and ask your friends to trade.
Collecting isn’t the only thing you can do with the cards. The animal cards with special values at the bottom can be used to play an exciting Wildlife Trumps game.
How to Buy the Album & Cards
You can purchase each album for $2.80 and a pack of cards for $1 at any FairPrice Xtra store. You can also get up to three packets of cards at $0.20 each with every $10 spent in one receipt (T&Cs apply).
There is even a special offer for you, dear readers. From 14 to 20 June, if you spend a minimum of $10, you can receive a free packets of cards! Your kids will scream with joy when you hand them a pack of cards to get them started on this exciting journey!
