The Edusave Award is divided into two categories: Academic and Non-Academic awards.

Academic Awards

These include the Edusave Scholarship (ES), Edusave Merit Bursary (EMB), Edusave Good Progress Award (GPA), and Edusave Scholarship for Independent Schools (ESIS). It’s important to note that your child is only eligible for one Edusave academic award.

Non-Academic Awards

These consist of the Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES), Edusave Character Award (ECHA), and Edusave Skills Award (ESA) for students from specialized schools, ITE, or polytechnics.

Award Ceremony

Your Constituency Office (CO) will also send a letter detailing the award ceremony. If you’re unable to attend the ceremony or didn’t receive the letter, you can check with the Community Club (CC) on how to collect the certificate and receive the award monies. For students in special education (SPED) schools, the award ceremony details will be provided by their school.

Receiving the Award Monies

If your child has registered for PayNow before the award ceremony, they will receive the award monies via this method. If they cannot register for PayNow or if the disbursement is unsuccessful, MOE will contact you to submit your child’s bank details via FormSG. The award monies will be credited to your child’s bank account approximately two weeks after MOE receives their bank details.

Please note that the award monies cannot be credited into a parent’s personal bank account or given in cash.
