High School Musical (28 August, Saturday, 5pm)
High School Musical tells the story of two high school students – Troy, a popular basketball player and Gabriella, a shy, brainy newcomer – who both share a passion for singing. When these two polar opposites try out for the school musical, it wreaks havoc on East High’s rigid social order. In a desperate effort to maintain the status quo, the school’s cliques conspire to keep them from performing. But by defying expectations and pursuing their dreams, Troy and Gabriella inspire other students to go public with some surprising hidden talents of their own.

My Life Me (Series Premieres on 21 August, Saturday 4.30pm)
My Life Me follows budding Manga artist 13-year-old Birch Small’s attempts to fit into a world her 12-year-old self could never have imagined. With her high school friends, Birch and her three “Podmates”, Sandra, Raffi and Liam fumble with their quests for identity as they navigate new social terrain. The dynamic visual language of Japanese Manga comic books provides the perfect complement to this realistic teen world with its over-the-top egos and emotions. Add in the friction that comes with relationships forged out of necessity and there’s a perfectly taut environment ready to crack… into peals of laughter. Each episode of My Life Me focuses on a central issue relevant to teen life – stories from real life, pumped up for the genre.
