Is “losing weight” one of your resolutions for 2010? What sort of diet plan do you have? How have you fared so far? Experts say that the more complex a diet plan is, the harder it is to stick to it and be successful. Simplicity, they say, is the secret to successfully losing those excess pounds.
UPI reports that cognitive scientists from Indiana University Bloomington and Max Planck Institute in Berlin have conducted a study on the behaviour of women towards diet plans. Their findings show that diets that require dieters to keep track of various items usually undermine a dieter’s determination to succeed in losing weight.
So if you want to be successful in shedding off those extra pounds this year, choose a diet plan that’s really easy and simple to follow. Remember, the simpler it is, the easier it would be for you to stick to it.
