A “Bringing Joy to Families” campaign will be launched in June to inspire families to bond and engage in new activities and enjoy family fun together. Families can look forward to over 100 deals offered by Made For Families partners and Klook, the official partner of the campaign. The deals cover family activities, staycations, and food and beverages, with discounts up to 50% off. The deals are offered in support of the Year of Celebrating SG Families (YCF), including some specially introduced for National Family Week (4 to 12 June). 

Strong and stable families form the bedrock of our society. An ecosystem of support is important, as parents, grandparents and caregivers play a role in the adoption of healthier habits from a young age and creating a positive family environment for raising a healthy, happy and able child1. With 2022 designated as the YCF, families are encouraged to prioritise family time and build stronger bonds by showing care and concern, love, respect, and commitment to one another. Research shows that parents engaging in play activities together with their children enhances parent-child relationship2. 

Social Media Activities

To showcase how spending time together can bring joy, families are encouraged to share photos/videos of their family adventures with a Made For Families partner on social media and participate in the online contest from 23 May to 30 June. They will stand a chance to win one of ten $200 Klook vouchers, which can be used for activities for more family joy!

These Made For Families partners come from various sectors such as hospitality, leisure, food and beverage, retail and e-commerce; and also include government agencies and non-profit community groups supporting parents and couples on their marriage and parenthood journey.
