Positive reviews about the Canadian International School Singapore

2009 – Sillingw – my son (5 1/2) goes to Toh Tuck (West) campus – the academic year is dependent on date of birth – they are currently building a new campus though, i think the move will be 2010. the current campus is small, not as plush as some of the others, but very friendly, good staff and my son enjoys it very much – I have never been to the east campus so have no comparison there, but we did look at several alternatives in the west and are happy with the choice of CIS

2010 – Alexojus – First of all, yes, the facilities compare to other International schools are not as good, but the fees follows: K1 $1200 per month and $2500 for the American school. I do think that the Canadian School is a good school with some good things and some bad things like in all schools!

2010 – WTF? It ain’t so bad. Teachers are caring. Kids have space to think, Kids are not over scheduled and doing mindless tasks. Are they rigorous? No, nor do I want them to be. My 7 year old daughter does two digit by two digit multiplication problems, reads voraciously, and speaks decent French and Mandarin. And she is happy!

2010 – Not a worry – 2 kids at the CIS high school who are very happy and are getting seriously stuck in with work. Know plenty who are impressed.
