An amazing tropical garden with lots of greens, flowers and butterflies and other insects are flying over you. Stroll through the lush surrounds of the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom and allow 1,500 live butterflies – from over 50 species – to flutter about you as you enjoy the cool outdoor conservatory. In an environment replicating nature as closely as possible, it is a monument built in remembrance of the hundreds and thousands of these tiny creatures lost due to increasing urbanization and deforestation worldwide.

Get acquainted with the history of these creepy-crawlies at the Insect Revolution exhibit and see how they have evolved through the ages. Special highlights on display include complete sets of insect fossils dating back million of years.

The park will also be the first in the world to showcase a 70m-long cave housing live insect specimens in their natural habitat. Watch the blossoming of new life at the Live Pupae house or admire up to 3,000 species of the world's most beautiful and rare insects, which includes the largest Dynastes Hercules beetle ever recorded – all 160 mm of it! Wear a bright colored shirt and the butterflies will land on you. There are also spiders and scorpions, beetles and other bugs in a separate area. As you venture further into the dark, discover Fireflies which serve as guiding lights.

For the more adventurous, participate in the twice-daily Stage Shows where you can learn how to handle giant scorpions, beetles and other insects. Try picking up a stick insect at the Stick Insect Safari, which is only if you can spot these cleverly-camouflaged creatures!
