Healing in Crisis and Beyond: Yoga, Sound Bath & Sharing Circle

For those seeking a calming and supportive environment, Healing in Crisis and Beyond is a wellness event designed specifically for breast cancer survivors and their loved ones. Taking place on 13 October 2024 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, this event offers a serene space for reflection, healing, and connection. Participants will engage in a soothing yoga session, followed by a sound bath that promotes relaxation and emotional well-being. There will also be a sharing circle, where participants can exchange stories and experiences. In addition, various booths will provide valuable resources, including free screenings and educational materials. It’s a great opportunity to heal, connect, and gain strength together.

UFIT Stronger Than Cancer: 24-Hour Charity Fitness Marathon

Calling all fitness enthusiasts! UFIT is hosting a 24-hour fitness marathon to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation. From 5 October noon to 6 October noon, UFIT Club Street will hold one class every hour, with each session led by volunteer coaches. Classes cater to all ages and fitness levels, so whether you’re an early riser or a night owl, there’s a slot for you. Entry costs $40 per class, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Breast Cancer Foundation. The event’s goal is to raise $10,000 for the cause, and every bit of support counts!
