Whether or not your kids are animal lovers, this IMAX movie will drive them wild! The heartwarming documentary shares the tale of young elephant and orangutan orphans and takes you through the wonderful journey of their birth to their rebirth into the wild! You and your kids will be transported around the world to the far stretches of Kenya and Borneo and might even be inspired to take action and save these precious creatures.

Narrated by Academy-Award® winner Morgan Freeman, Born to be Wild depicts the remarkable bond between humans and animals.  This film documents this beautiful relationship between orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them. In turn, saving endangered species one life at a time. You get to watch it featured on Asia’s newest and largest seamless dome screen. Coupled with state-of-the-art IMAX technology, the 248-seat theatre provides a bigger, better and larger-than-life experience, so your kids can really feast their eyes on what they’re watching!

Born to be Wild profiles world-renowned primatologist Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas in Borneo, and celebrated elephant authority Dame Daphne M. Sheldrick in the rugged Kenyan Savannah, as they and their teams rescue, rehabilitate and return these incredible animals back to the wild. “Spending so much time among the orphaned elephants and orangutans in this film was a life changing experience,” said Producer/Writer Drew Fellman. “And IMAX makes it possible to share that wonder with the audience in a very profound way that takes us directly into the lives and struggles of these amazing animals.”

So make sure your kids get to be a part of this amazing experience! It’s really one that shouldn’t be missed, plus you get to save on flights and hotel accommodation, because the jungle is coming to you, right here in Singapore. You might have to deal with the unexpected request for a baby elephant or orangutan this Christmas though. We sure want one, so we wouldn’t blame your kids for feeling the same way!
