No surprise that the Queen of Pop would throw an appropriately lavish, absolutely gorgeous baby shower (over there, they have it before baby is born!).
Beyoncé is currently pregnant with twins, and the expectant mother sure pulled out all the stops to celebrate her upcoming arrivals.
The African-themed baby shower was a dramatic soiree of tribal prints and traditional music. Beyoncé looked regal in traditional African garb, a sweeping skirt paired with a top that showed off her expanding belly. Rock that baby bump, mama!

The expectant dad, Jay-Z, was also glamorous in all-white African traditional dress, dancing with his dazzling wife. Just look at the adoration in his eyes as he gazes at her!

The beautiful mum’s supportive crowd of guests included former Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, along with Serena Williams, also currently expecting her first child. And of course, Beyonce’s own mum, Tina Knowles, was there to record these precious moments.

The arrival of the twins will bring the Knowles-Carter family up to five—the superstar couple currently have a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. Beyoncé announced that Blue Ivy would become a big sis in February this year. Remember that resplendent baby bump pic that broke the Internet?

The photo went on to become the most-liked pic in Instagram history, getting more than 7.2 million likes within 24 hours. Looks like the twins are already breaking records even before they are born!
The Carters have not yet shared their babies’ due date, but word on the ground is that it’ll be soon. We can’t wait to see her twin bundles of joy!
