Raising a big toddler isn’t easy!

Size does matter; especially in this case. These two toddlers have one major thing in common — they eat a whole lot! Consuming copious amounts of food will rationally lead to, well, growth. Duh! These kids face challenges because of their size, read on to see what their parents have to deal with when it comes to raising such unique children.

Tallest toddler in the world

At two and a half, he stands at 4.5 feet (over 137 cm). Karan Singh is believed to be the world’s tallest toddler, weighing in at approximately 45 kg. Well, what do you expect? He is the son of Asia’s tallest woman, Goliath Svetlana Singh, who is over 7 feet tall (over 220 cm).

The boy’s mother, who will represent India in basketball, said that she is praying that her son will outgrow her in height. So what to they feed this little giant? The mother shared: “When Karan wakes up in the morning the first thing he does is ask for food and tea. Whenever he sees anybody eating, he asks for food. He’d never stop eating if I didn’t force him to.”

Just to give u a rough idea of how much this “little” one eats; five apples in a sitting and he demands ten teaspoonfuls of honey a day!

Karan  is so large that the nursery refused him entrance until they could prove his age by looking at the birth certificate. The mom does not see her son’s height as a setback, she said: “If he wants to play basketball in future I will send him to America for studies there.”

The father of the tall toddler stands at 6 feet 7 inches (over 200cm) tall. He said:”At 6ft 7in, I am normally the tallest person in any room but in front of my wife, I feel unusually little.”

The couple want another child and will definitely check to see if they are the tallest family in the world. The father mentioned: “It would be funny and we would be like a natural jungle book, a giraffe’s family. It would be a very special kind of family.”

This 3-year-old toddler from China resembles a sumo wrestler in the making. He weighs close to a whopping 60 kg — five times heavier than other boys his age. Lu Hao is so humongous that his parents are afraid of him.

When he wants food, he gets it! His parents know it’s futile to keep food from him because he throws terrible tantrums if he does not get that third or fourth helping. His mother Chen Huan said: “We have to let him be as if we don’t feed him he will cry nonstop.” She has attempted to feed him less but the toddler still put on close to 10 kg in a year.

Nurseries have banned the gigantic toddler as his size might endanger other kids, so the poor boy has to play at home, by himself. It’s funny that Lu Hao was underweight when born but started packing on the pounds at three months.

Lu Hao’s parents took him to specialists at the Guangdong Children’s hospital to look into his condition. The doctors believe that it could be a hormonal problem. Dr. Lu Hong stated: “He is not just overweight but very tall as well so we may be able to treat him if it really is hormonal. But he cannot remain like this or his heart will never stand the strain.”
