81-year-old, Critically Ill Man Wishes To Reunite With Family After 35 Years

An 81-year-old palliative care ward patient at St Andrew's Community Hospital, Mr Tang Chor Peng, is seeking to reunite with his long-lost family after 35 years.

St Andrew’s Community Hospital on Monday (8 June) said in an update that Mr Tang’s family has been located.

Last Wish

An 81-year-old man in Singapore is wishing to be reunited with his long-lost family whom he has not seen for 35 years, St. Andrew’s Community Hospital’s (SACH) said in an Instagram post on Thursday (4 June).

The man, identified as Tang Chor Peng (陈楚平), is a critically-ill patient in SACH’s palliative care ward.

Last contact in 1985

According to the hospital’s post, Mr Tang was last in contact with his ex-wife and three daughters back more than 30 years ago, in 1985.

His family used to live at New Upper Changi Road then.

Mr Tang also has a younger brother, 陈旭平 (Chen Xu Ping) with whom he wishes to meet. His brother was said to have been living in Boon Lay with his two children back then.

The hospital said it is Mr Tang’s last wish to meet his family members.
