A 4-year-old got expelled!

At an age when kids are still  trying to figure out what school is all about, a 4-year old boy has already had his share of expulsion, making him the youngest kid ever to be kicked out of school. The Telegraph tells us that this boy was expelled from his school for repeatedly breaking the school's code of conduct despite his teacher's efforts to help him.

However, eight days after he was expelled from Forestdale Primary School in Croydon, South London, school governors reversed their decision after much deliberation and review. So teachers were obliged to take him back in but the boy's parents decided to put him in another school.

I don't agree with the school's decision to expel the child. After all, the boy was just four years old. It's an age when a child's foundations for character development are still being built so there's still so much to be done. The school should've tried working with the boy's parents, instead of just expelling him from school. Maybe the parents were clueless on how to help their child or maybe they were just totally blind to his faults. Whatever the reason was for the boy's behaviour, I'm sure the school could have reacted without the need of an expulsion.
