Georgie Smith of Dorsett UK has wanted to become a girl even when he was still a toddler. Now that he is 14, he believes that it’s time for him to have a sex change. But the NHS thinks that Georgie has to wait until he is in puberty before he goes through a sex-change procedure.

According to The Sun, Georgie’s mother Carole thinks that if her son doesn’t have a sex change now he would look manly because of his hormones. She wants her son to be given hormone blockers now so he wouldn’t grow very tall or have big hands.

Carole relates that Georgie attempted to kill himself twice for being in the “wrong body”. School bullies have been targeting him at age eight – branding him a “freak”. She wants to bring him to the US so he can have a sex-change procedure there but admits that she doesn’t have the money.
