Just today, American Express announced its most exciting campaign to date; a 10-car giveaway over a 10-week period. Starting now till 29 January 2012, the lucky draw gives Cardmembers the chance to win a brand new Volkswagen vehicle every time they use their American Express® Cards^ this festive season.

This is how it works; for every S$50 spent in each qualifying week, Cardmembers will receive 10 entries into the draw. The chances double to 20 for every $50 spent at ION Orchard. New Cardmembers will also automatically receive 20 entries for every new basic card approved and an additional 10 entries for every new supplementary card approved during the lucky draw period.
Just so you know, entries are calculated based on the total accumulated amount spent by a Cardmember each week. Entries earned will be reset after each weekly draw. Ten lucky American Express Cardmembers will be announced as winners of the brand new Volkswagen cars on 17 January 2012 and 21 February 2012 in The Straits Times. They will also be notified via post. The Volkswagen cars up for grabs are the Golf Cabriolet, Touareg, Touran, Jetta, Golf, and Polo.

More festivities
In conjunction with this campaign, American Express will be holding a series of activities and promotions at ION Orchard. From 24 to 27 November, shoppers who charge S$100 or more to their American Express cards will receive a complimentary grocery bag, get the chance to win an instant gift, and be part of a Christmas Moments photo contest.
Platinum Cardmembers can also receive greater benefits during the post-Christmas sales from 26 to 28 December by earning 10 Times Membership Rewards points whenever they use their cards at American Express accepting stores at ION Orchard.
