The body of a Singapore dad has been found floating in the sea, two days after he was reported missing.

He has been identified as Jake Seet Choon Heng, a 33-year-old commercial diver and father of two sons, aged 6 and 3. His wife is expecting their third child, a baby girl, next month…

Singapore dad found dead in the sea…

According to Channel NewsAsia, Mr. Jake Seet was reported missing on May 5, 2018.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) said that he had been conducting underwater operations for the vessel Jork at the Western Anchorage near Sentosa. Apparently, he had more than 10 years of diving experience.

He was reported missing at about 2:43 pm.

The MPA conducted search and rescue operations, but in vain.

At 6.36 pm on 7 May, 2018, his lifeless body was found, floating in the sea off Sentosa.

Mr. Seet’s sister, Jacqueline Seet, had earlier appealed for some information on her brother. It seems, neither the company nor the authorities had informed the family of the situation. It was a friend who worked in the same industry who first told them about it.

Police are now investigating the tragedy.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to this family. May they gain the strength to cope with their loss…
