The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) is a vibrant hub that promotes and develops local Chinese culture. Collaborating with arts and cultural groups and community partners, the centre aims to foster a greater appreciation of Singapore’s multicultural identity and create a sense of belonging within diverse communities.

Since its inauguration on 19th May 2017 by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the centre has become a focal point for exhibitions, fairs, performances, seminars, talks, workshops, and various cultural activities throughout the year.

 

Central Location and Versatile Venue Options

Situated conveniently in Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD), the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre offers a range of affordable and versatile venues for rent.

These venues cater to both corporate and personal event requirements, providing options such as well-equipped boardrooms and picturesque roof gardens. They are suitable for diverse occasions, including annual general meetings, school anniversaries, award ceremonies, dance recitals, and corporate events.

Cultural Extravaganza: (Re)presenting Culture Across Every Generation

The Cultural Extravaganza at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre celebrates Singapore’s Chinese culture across different generations.

This year’s event showcases 11 exciting programs that highlight the evolution of Chinese culture. Among the highlights are the music theatrical production “Present Past,” the vibrant celebration of beloved Chinese songs in “Jazz It Up!,” and the original dance-drama “Stride Beyond the Banks.”

In collaboration with Lianhe Zaobao, the SCCC presents a special art exhibition commemorating 100 years of Singaporean art. The exhibition features an exclusive collection of 160 paintings and calligraphic works by 80 renowned local artists from the Qiu Zhai Art Studio. Don’t miss out on this extraordinary festival, running until June 19th!

 

How to Reach the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre is located at 1 Straits Boulevard, Singapore 018906. Getting to the centre is convenient, with several transportation options available:

By Bus: Take bus numbers 10, 57, 97, 100, or 131. By Nearest MRT: The nearest MRT station is Tanjong Pagar MRT.

Operating Hours: The centre is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Admission: Entrance to the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre is free.
