One of the best places to wind down surrounded by nature is Pasir Ris Park in Singapore. 

Aside from the vast space that allows you to take a stroll or cycle around, it’s also filled with family-friendly attractions. This includes pony rides, water sports, bird-watching and more! 

Your children will also be excited to jump and run around its playground, which has one of the largest installations in Singapore.

2. Pasir Ris Town Park

Another nature gem around the Pasir Ris area is Pasir Ris Town Park, which has a wide-open space, a fitness corner, and a playground for the kids.

It is actually a popular destination for cultural and social gatherings as well as a relaxing day out with the family.

Aside from strolling and cycling around the park, there are also shelters and a collection of tropical greenery that you can enjoy.

3. Pasir Ris Park Connector

For families that enjoy cycling together, this Park Connector is one of the best places to cruise through.

It runs along Pasir Ris Drive 3 through several housing estates and schools before you reach the end at the junction of Pasir Ris Drive and Loyang Park Connector.

Enjoy this space and take in the goodness of nature.

  • Opening Hours: 24 Hours daily
  • Lighting Hours: 7.00 pm – 7.00 am

 

4. Beach Park

If you’ve been missing the beach these days, you can head down to the Beach Park at Pasir Ris Park in Singapore where you can feel the ocean breeze once again. 

You can also cycle with your kids here or capture a few family photos in some of its beautiful picturesque views.

It’s also the best place to have a much-needed quiet day out away from the bustling city.

5. Time Park

Sort of a hidden gem in the middle of city life, Time Park is located at Pasir Ris Drive 6 situated nearby Kampong Tampines.

There’s something for every member of the family here, with their Treehouse playground and a fitness corner complete with multiple workout machines. 

Even when surrounded by buildings, you’ll still get to reconnect with nature, thanks to its nice green spaces. 

 

6. Mangrove Boardwalk

While Mangrove Boardwalk is actually located at Pasir Ris Park, Singapore, it still deserves a place on this list due to its mangrove forest which is worth the visit.

There are multiple paths that allow visitors to admire its flora and fauna.
