To welcome September with open arms, here are the best events that are happening during the week for you and the family!

As we welcome September, let’s bid farewell to the month of August. The month our country had her fair share of ups and downs. From the NDP to our first Olympic gold medal and to the passing on of our 6th president S R Nathan, August is definitely a month to remember. To welcome September with open arms, here are the best events that are happening  this week, so buckle up mummies!

 

#1 The White Rabbit Gives Back This Children’s Day

White Rabbit

This Children’s Day, The White Rabbit will be partnering with Singapore Children’s Society for a fundraiser that includes contributing $5 from every à la carte dessert sold from 1 September to 30 October 2016 to SCS’s charitable initiatives. Apart from the donation drive, contributions will also be made to the Singapore Children’s Society’s annual Charity Gala Dinner, part of The White Rabbit’s 2016 initiative to work more closely with charities to help those in need.

#2 PAW PATROL’s First ‘Live’ Show

This September school holidays, head over to City Square Mall where you can have a Paw of a good time. Paw Patrol’s first live show will be happening right here from 3 – 11 Sept (daily except on Monday) and your little ones will be thrilled to shake hands and get up close and personal with their favourite characters.You can redeem the Meet & Greet Pass with just $50* spent at the mall. In addition, you can also redeem a PAW PATROL Dog Bone Mini Cushion and PAW PATROL Snap A Pic Pass with a minimum spending of $150*. The redemptions are limited to 50 and 4000 redemptions respectively.

#3 FUNFUN Paper Making Kid’s Workshop with OIC at Gallery & Co.

For the little artists, here’s the perfect event for you. Head over to the Keppel Centre for Art Education for a fun art workshop catered to 5 – 10-year-olds where the little artists can let their creativity run wild by creating stuff from old newspapers and unwanted papers, amongst other things. This programme aims to not only channel out the creativity in the young ones but also to teach the importance of recycling and how fun it can actually be.
