NCID Nurse Counts Among the 690 New Coronavirus Cases
[Updated] This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 15,113, with 1,188 patients discharged and 14 deaths.

The Ministry of Health has reported 690 new coronavirus cases in Singapore on April 29.
Out of these, there are 11 cases in the community, 19 cases involving work permit holders residing outside dormitories, and 660 cases of work permit holders residing in dormitories.
Six of the new cases are Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
This would be a 162 increase from yesterday’s 528 additional coronavirus cases.
There has also been another confirmed case from the public healthcare sector. Case 15,237 is a 23-year-old female Malaysian national who is a nurse at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).
According to MOH, she had no recent travel history to affected countries or regions. After reporting the onset of symptoms on April 23, she was diagnosed with COVID-19 today and is currently warded at NCID.
Before she was admitted to hospital, she had mostly been on medical leave and only attended to work for a few hours.
Five new clusters have been identified as well: 11 Defu Lane 1, 106 International Road, 33 Senoko Way, 17 Shaw Road and 182 Woodlands Industrial Park E5
Of the 1,714 cases who are still in hospital, most are in stable condition or improving. 22 are in critical condition, while 12,725 cases who are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. 62 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 15,113, with 1,188 patients discharged and 14 deaths.
