You have probably seen it all over your social media feed by now – #10YearChallenge. In the latest trend to hit social media this year, this challenge requires you to post 2 pictures of yourself, side by side, which were taken at least 10 years apart. A lot of Singapore celebrity parents have jumped on the bandwagon too, and it’s amazing to see how much (or how little) they have changed over the last 10 years. Actress, host and former Miss Singapore Universe, Jaime Teo, posted this picture as part of her #10YearChallenge.
“I’ve clearly grown up some these 10 years and am not as bright-eyed as in my youth. I’m also rather resigned to life and content to stay still instead of running off all the time.”
“That’s what age does to you”, writes Jaime, who is mummy to an 8-year-old daughter, Renee.

Singapore actress, entrepreneur and new mum, Cheryl Wee, posted this rather cute throwback to her university days when she had just started dating her now-husband, Roy Fong.
Today, the couple have a son, Marc, who will turn one in April 2019.

Perhaps the most interesting of the lot is a blogger and social media superstar, Xiaxue’s (or Wendy Cheng) 10-year challenge post.
Especially since she has always openly admitted to her numerous plastic surgeries.
Here’s what she has to say, “Apparently in 2009, I was crazy into tanning, had blonde hair, blonde brows, and haven’t fixed my teeth, done gum reduction or done my eyes yet. This was my first nose job.”

10 years ago, she reveals she had just given birth to her youngest child. Today her two children are 14 and 10.
“What a journey it has been!”, writes May Phua.
“Then I wasn’t a lot of what I am now or can do what I can do now nor do less of what I did in the past. But I’m trying to embrace it all, especially on bad days, constantly encouraging myself to #moveon while bearing in mind #myshortcomings . What would another #10yearslater be?”
