5. Revel in the happenings of the Singapore Science Festival 2018
If you love all things science or is just naturally curious, you’re definitely going to have a blast in the upcoming Singapore Science Festival 2018 (SSF)! It’s happening from 16 August to 9 September so mark the dates down!
Brought to all by The Science Centre Singapore and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), SSF 2018 will bring you an inventive line-up of more than 50 activities, workshops and games that explore the exponential possibilities of artificial intelligence (A.I.) and its influence on everyday life.

6. Sentosa Sandsation: MARVEL Edition
Rejoice, everyone! In light of Southeast Asia’s largest sand festival — Sentosa Sandsation: MARVEL Edition —Sentosa is opening its doors FREE for all Singapore residents from this 1 September to 16 September.
Marvel fans, you definitely won’t want to pass up on this one because this unique exhibition will feature 15 larger-than-life sand sculptures of popular MARVEL Super Heroes such as Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and Hulk, and another 14 sculptures crafted from scratch in the Sentosa International Sand Sculpting Championship.
It’s also the first time where the public will get to watch the renowned sand sculptors work their magic on their competition pieces, and only from 1 to 3 September 2018. Definitely one of the highlights for your kids’ September school holiday activities. Be there or be square!

8. Take a stroll down memory lane with exhibits @ the National Museum
Can’t decide what September school holiday activities to get involved in? How about switching it up a little this time by taking a stroll down memory lane with your kids?
The National Museum of Singapore, together with the Housing Development Board presents an exhibition: ‘The More We Get Together: Singapore’s Playgrounds 1930 – 2030’. Set to end on 30 September, this exhibition will relive those childhood memories at the playgrounds; introducing playgrounds of the past, present and future.
You will get to explore different playground surfaces, examine the original blueprints of the iconic mosaic playgrounds, and uncover other great ways for children to learn more about the playgrounds they frequent. Guaranteed to entertain even the most active of children!

9. Take a peek into the future world
Kids are so going to love the refreshed FUTURE WORLD: Where Art Meets Science exhibition — soon to be launched on 1st September, with 10 new interactive digital artworks. You’ll find yourself immersed in a world of art, science, magic and metaphor through a collection of cutting-edge digital installations.
Through key narratives such as Nature, Town, Sanctuary, Park and Space, you and your child will be taken on an exciting journey of discovery! 11. Spooky Seas 2018
Prepare to take your kids out to S.E.A Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa this coming September holidays because the aquarium’s latest weird and wonderful animals are on display! Spooky Seas 2018 is part of its annual family-friendly Spooky Seas event in celebration of Halloween.

12. Experience having your own “Ocean Dreams”
An extension to the activities at Spooky Seas, “Ocean Dreams” will fulfill your fantasies of coming close to the majestic marine animals at night and unravel mysteries of the marine world. Through a two-day-one-night sleepover programme, families will get to experience an enriching and intimate time with their little ones.
