15 questions to ask your grandma NOW (before it's too late!)

Sadly, there are some of us who do not know much about our grandparents' history and live to regret the day they leave our side. Here are some questions you can ask your grandma before it's too late!
1. Where and when were you born?
It is highly likely that most of you reading this might not even know where your grandma was born, which is why this list exists – to reconnect you with poor grandma before it's too late!
2. How did you meet Grandpa?
Your grandparents' journey together over the years might just be a better love story than Twilight. So make sure you know the beauty behind lasting relationships – it may just help spark inspiration in your own love life!
3. What was it like bringing up Mummy/Daddy?
This is a must-ask for all grandkids! Ask your grandma what your mum/dad was like as a child! Why not have the power to make fun of your parents every once in a while?
4. What was school like?
Ever wondered how school life was like way before you existed? Why not stroll down memory lane with your grandma? She'll love you probably a whole lot more for that!
5. How much trouble did you get yourself into in the past?
This is the exciting bit! You might be surprised at how much of a wild child your grandma was way back then.
6. What and how are some of the countries you and grandpa visited?
Your grandparents' travel ventures should be highlighted to you. Adventuring to new places or exploring cultures is how you learn and grow to be the person that you are.
7. What was your first job?
Get some inspiration from them with regards to future career possibilities. A little inspiration never hurt anyone.
8. What was the hardest thing you've had to accomplish in your life?
Like many of us, your grandparents probably faced hardships that may or may not be worse than what we are facing currently. Nonetheless, have a listen to what they have to say, it's good for their soul!
9. What is your favourite part of being a parent?
Get some tips from your grandma while she talks about the joys of parenting! You'll be surprised at how much of a menace your mum/dad were back in the day.
10. What was the craziest thing you've ever done?
You're lucky if your grandma shares with you how much of a troublemaker she was back then!
11. How did you react to Daddy proposing to Mummy?
Find out how your parents were like before they got married- a story we all would love to hear about our folk. She might even let you in on juicy details your parents conveniently left out!
12. How was your University life like?
Granny's University and high school life can be an insight as to how different studies were like back then. Did they have as many classes as we do now? What CCA did she enrol herself into? Was she a geek?
13. What are some of your regrets?
Get your grandma to go a little deeper in history. Ask her to share with you her personal struggles and regrets in life. It will make her feel much appreciated and loved knowing that her grandkids are constantly curious about her past and way of life.
14. What do you remember about your wedding day?
Nothing is more special than watching your grandma laugh and smile at the thought of your grandpa saying "I do". Get her talking, and you'll learn more about them as a couple.
15. What do you want to be remembered for?
You might want to end this special conversation by asking her this. It may be a tad emotional but her answer will definitely resonate with you throughout the rest of your life.
