We take plenty of pictures of our kids on a daily basis. But there are some pictures that are more special than others. This IVF baby photoshoot is one of those tear-jerking, life-changing photos that every mother needs to see.

Meet London. She is the product of Patricia and Kimberly O’Neill’s unwavering determination to have a baby.
The newborn is seen photographed with the thousands of needles her parents had used in the seven rounds of IVF it took to conceive her.
According to Patricia, the process took four years, including three miscarriages and the 1,616 needles pictured with baby London.
This photoshoot is just the perfect way to commemorate the O’Neill’s journey of determination, tears and love.

First IVF Baby Photoshoot for Photography
Packer Family Photography’s photographer Samantha Packer, is experienced with baby shoots, having done hundreds for her work.
But it was the first time she’d been asked “to do something like this”, she said on Facebook.
‘”I was honoured and wanted to create something special!” the talented photographer wrote.
The photoshoot was done as London turned a week old.
“Kimberly decided as soon as I started shots that she would save the needles and that we would do a photo at the end of our journey,” Patricia said in an interview.
But the couple never anticipated there would be so many needles. Of course, once the photos hit the Internet, the image went viral, amassing over 57,000 shares and almost 100,000 likes.
Concerns Surrounding Needles in the IVF Baby Photoshoot

Some voiced their concern over having the baby surrounded by so many needles. But Patricia reassured everyone that each syringe was capped and had a plastic shield around it to protect everyone, especially baby London.
Not to mention, baby London was tightly swaddled. “Being only a week old, she did not have the strength nor coordination to get out of the swaddle,” Patricia added.
Not only that, both parents were around to monitor the situation.
“We were right next to her the entire time and she was a good distance from them, although it doesn’t appear so in the photo.”
Patricia hopes that the photo will inspire other hopeful mothers.
“We want it to bring hope for women that are hopeless in this journey and a voice for women that are afraid to speak of it,” she said.
She also hopes that the photo will act as a reminder for those who are going through the same struggle they went through to “Cry when they need to, laugh when they can. Sometimes, it’s hard enough to even smile, let alone laugh, but you need to find an outlet.”
This IVF baby photoshoot is so beautiful, it brings tears to our eyes! Remember, if you’re going through this journey of IVF, don’t give up. Have hope.
