Singapore’s first Hello Kitty themed cafe to open in May 2016

Hello Kitty lovers rejoice! Singapore's Changi Airport Terminal 3 will be seeing its first cafe inspired by the iconic character.

Looks like the Hello Kitty trend is still going strong and may even continue for the future generations. In May 2016, Singapore will be opening its first Hello Kitty themed cafe at Changi Airport Terminal 3 called Hello Kitty Orchid Garden.

The best part of this is, it will be opened 24 hours! You have a flight to catch at 2 in the morning and your kids are in the mood for some Hello Kitty desserts? Not to worry!

With similar cafes in places like Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Taipei, it’s without a doubt that the Hello Kitty fans in Singapore are excited for this one! The cafe would also have a floral setting, to give off Singapore’s garden city vibe, inspired by our very own national flower, the orchid.

To increase the Singaporean aesthetic, there will also in the infusion of local flavours into the already impressive menu. Consisting of an all day breakfast and pastries, the menu also offers a wide range of Hello Kitty inspired desserts, gelato sundaes, waffles and tea cakes.

Both you and the kids will also be delighted to hear that there will be a retail section selling merchandises of the iconic character that are suited for the young and the old like tea blends and tea cups, plush toys, postcards and grow-it-yourself plant kits. Did I mention that these merchandises are exclusively for Singapore?
