Colorectal cancer

Despite being one of the easiest cancers to detect, colorectal cancer is still one the top cancers in Singapore, especially among men aged 50 and above. Thus, for the fourth year running, Guardian Health & Beauty continues to support Singapore Cancer Society in raising awareness of this cancer among the public, with the objectives of saving lives and reducing treatment costs.

Like most cancers, colorectal cancer is curable when identified early. In 2010, more than 200 customers have benefitted from this giveaway, seeking treatment early and thus saving their lives. Guardian Health & Beauty aims to replicate such preventive measures annually, providing the public access to information and self- diagnostic test kits. Other diagnostic kits like Blood Glucose test strips, Diabetes test kits and Kidney Urinary Tract test kits are sold in Guardian stores too.
