Apricot and Chicken Hello Kitty Sandwich

A yummy protein-packed sandwich with fruity goodness! Super easy recipe too!

Ingredients (2 sandwich servings)

  • White bread – 4 slices (*you can change to soft-meal or whole meal bread if you prefer)
  • White chicken meat – 40~45g (shredded into thin strips)
  • Dried apricot – 2~3 pieces (cut into small pieces)
  • Low fat mayonnaise – 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking with Hello Kitty Method

  • Add the dried apricot, mayonnaise, salt and pepper to the chicken mixture and mix well.
  • Preheat the Hello Kitty sandwich maker until the indicator light turns green. Place two slices of bread at the base. Spread the chicken mixture, leaving a 1cm border around the edges.
  • Place two slices of bread on top. Close the top cover of the sandwich maker and grill the sandwich for about three minutes.

 

Red Bean and Chocolate Hello Kitty Sandwich

Red Bean Chocolate Kitty Sandwich

A unique combination that works so well… The sandwich with its melted chocolate filing will leave you craving for more!

Ingredients (2 sandwich servings)

  • White bread – 4 slices (*you can change to soft-meal or wholemeal bread if you prefer)
  • Red bean paste – 2~3 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate – 6 squares (*you can change to milk chocolate if you prefer)

Cooking with Hello Kitty Method

  • Preheat the Hello Kitty sandwich maker until the indicator light turns green.
  • Place two bread slices at the base. Place the chocolate squares at the centre. Spread the red bean paste on top of the chocolate squares, leaving a 1cm border around the edges. Place two bread slices on top.
  • Close the top cover of the sandwich maker and grill the sandwich for about three minutes.

 

Kitty Mum’s Apple Pie

Ingredients (2 sandwich servings)

  • Apple 2pc
  • Butter 20g
  • Sugar 50g
  • Lemon Juice 15ml
  • Cinnamon Powder
  • Frozen Pie Sheet
  • Melted butter

Cooking with Hello Kitty Method

  • Defrost the pie sheet.
  • Preheat the sandwich maker
  • Cut the apples into small cube shapes.
  • Add butter to the frying pan.
  • Add the apples and stir fry with sugar.
  • Add lemon juice. Stir fry the apples until they become transparent.
  • Allow the apple cubes to cool down, then mix with cinnamon.
  • Brush the sandwich maker with melted butter and add the apple cubes.
  • Spread out the apple cubes and press.
  • Allow to cook for 15 minutes.
  • Garnish with vanilla icing or fruits.
