How to reach
By Public Transport:
To get to Coney Island Singapore, we recommend using public transportation.
- Start by taking a train to Punggol and then head to the bus interchange at the C exit.
- From there, take bus 84 and get off at Punggol Road End.
- Follow the signs to reach Coney Island. This is the most convenient and efficient way to reach the island, and it allows you to enjoy scenic views of Singapore along the way.
Using public transport also reduces your carbon footprint, making it an eco-friendly option for travel.
By Car
You can drive to Punggol Settlement and park your car there. You can also keep your car outside Coney Island’s exits by the West and East entrances.

Start at Punggol Point Park
You can start your trip at Punggol Point Park. Relax by the jetty and sit on the swings at the playground. While you enjoy the lush greenery, say ‘hello’ to the turtles in the pond.
Bird Watching
This is a perfect place for bird watching. It has over 80 species of birds on the island and is also a popular stopover for migratory birds.
If you camouflage in the bird hides or wait patiently from the forested trails, you may get lucky and spot some rare birds too.
Nature walks
The park is home to a wide variety of habitats with many interesting and diverse flora and fauna. Several nationally threatened species are also the highlight of this park.

This adventure area was constructed using recycled materials and felled Casuarina trees. The ground material uses sand recycled from the nearby beach and gives a rustic feel to the area.
If you are at Coney Island, don’t miss the Casuarina Exploration. It is bound to be great fun for people of all ages. While you weave through the ‘Millipede’, the real challenge is trying to keep your balance on the ‘Earthworm’ and then hop across the ‘Caterpillar’.

The Coney Island Park offers access to five beach areas. If you are cycling on the main path, remember to look for signs that’ll direct you to any of these beaches.
Welcoming you at the beaches are pristine shores and the perfect place to relax after sweating it out on the bikes. Do head to the beach areas C and E for some tranquillity.

Rent a bike
If you don’t have bikes of your own then you can rent a bike from Jomando Adventure & Recreations. It’s located at the extreme end of the Punggol Settlement.
You get bikes of all sizes here for the entire family. Whether you want to choose mountain bikes or go for double bikes for you and your kids, there are plenty of options to choose from.
Best Time To Visit
- The best time to plan a trip to Coney Island is early morning or late evening to avoid the glaring sun. Even though the island is shaded by huge trees, the area outside the park at Punggol Settlement is not.
- You should avoid visiting the park during a storm though. And if you find yourself stuck during rains, immediately seek shelter.

Things To Carry When You Visit Coney Island
- Keep in mind that the terrain is rugged in parts, which may make it unsuitable for younger kids.
- There is no electricity or piped water on the island. Do remember to carry bottled water with you when you visit the park.
- Wear covered shoes and long pants to protect yourself from insect bites.
- Walk on the designated trails. If you meet any long-tailed macaques on the way, then you should keep a safe distance and not feed them.
- Don’t forget to put your sunscreen lotion and sunglasses in your bag.
- Carry snacks along so that you can munch on them when you are hungry. Punggol Settlement is the place where you can mind find some convenience stores and eateries.
