From the 6th to the 9th of February, all the wildlife parks – Jurong Bird Park, the River Safari and the Singapore Zoo will be putting up lion dance performances on high poles, no less! The Night Safari’s lion dance will be especially beautiful to behold as the performers will be adding in LED lights for extra effect.

Mingle with the adorable Fu Lu Shou (Fu for prosperity, Lu for fertility and Shou for longevity) and God of Fortune mascots scattered around the entrances this year to start the year off with a prosperous note. Take pictures with them and say hi as you make your way in! If you or your kids are big fans of the giant, furry Pandas, do drop by the River Safari where Kai Kai and Jia Jia giant panda mascots will also be making an appearance.

Like you and your family, the animals at the various wildlife parks also love their Chinese New Year goodies. There will be special festive treats for our beloved furry pals at various timings that you and your family can participate in. Watch their funny antics as they clamour around their favourite munchies! Check out the timings here so you don’t miss the feeding times for your favourite animals.
