Cinema promotion in Singapore means kids watch for free

Until November 30 2019, select cinema franchises are offering families a chance to spoil their little ones with free film tickets! These include WE Cinema, Shaw Theatre, and Golden Village. Let’s check out how to qualify for free movie tickets!

WE Cinema

  • Free ticket for children under 90cm (just under 3 feet) with purchase of an adult ticket up to S$12.50
  • Only available for 2D movies
  • Only valid for box office tickets (not valid if the ticket is redeemed through other means like online, group bookings, mobile, or vouchers)
  • Invalid for eves of public holidays and on public holidays themselves
  • Date of expiry – not stated

Mums, if your little one is under 90cm, he can watch his favourite film for free at any time! This works well as a mid-week treat or time out with the family! Just note that you need to buy your ticket at the actual box office since booking through other means aren’t allowed.

Golden Village

  • Free movie ticket for children under 12 years old with purchase of 2 standard adult tickets
  • Only available for purchases at the box office (not valid if the ticket is redeemed through other means like online, group bookings, mobile, or vouchers)
  • Valid every day before 2pm, except for eves of public holidays and on public holidays themselves
  • Valid until November 30 2019
  • Not valid in conjunction with other credit card promotions

This is definitely made with the entire family in mind! Mum, when you and the hubby buy a ticket, your little one comes in with you for free! If you can’t get a seat at WE Cinemas, this might be your next best bet.

Shaw Theatre

  • Free admission for children aged 6 years and under with every purchase of an adult standard ticket
  • Valid Monday-Friday before 2pm, except for eves of public holidays and on public holidays themselves
  • Only available for purchases at the box office (not valid if the ticket is redeemed through other means like online, group bookings, mobile, or vouchers)
  • Not valid in conjunction with other credit card promotions
  • Date of expiry – not stated

If your husband can’t make it, this promotion by Shaw Theatre is a welcome treat. Your little one gets free admission when you buy a ticket. Do take note that it’s only valid during weekdays and before 2pm!
