Changi Airport opens world's first 24-hour Hello Kitty Café
Early for a flight and feeling hungry? Head down to the newly-opened Hello Kitty Café at Changi Airport terminal 3 now
Singaporean Hello Kitty Fans were seen flocking the newly opened café at 11:30am on Thursday at Changi Airport Terminal 3.
Besides being the world’s first 24-hour Hello Kitty café, this café is dubbed as Hello Kitty Orchid Garden, so as to include the local flavour into the interior design as well as the menu items. You’ll be amazed with the café whimsical garden theme that features our country’s national flower.
To the surprise of many, the café doesn’t play Japanese songs or kawaii songs in the background, so as to not turn away non-fans.
Hello Kitty Orchid Garden’s menu items are inspired by the cartoon character herself such as the waffles that are shaped in Hello Kitty form. As previously mentioned, the menu also has locally-inspired dishes such as the wagyu beef rendang and the pandan panna cotta.
Also, unlike other Hello Kitty cafés around the globe, this one features a gelato stand! There is also the retail section where fans and non-fans alike can purchase Hello Kitty merchandise.
They also have a Hello Kitty plush toy made exclusively for its Singapore café. Do note, it’s a limited edition product and there are currently only 500 of it on sale. So hurry down now!
